I am pleased to have this opportunity to show my appreciation for the hypnotherapy program I attended through Crossroads Training Institute.
On the first weekend of the course Dr. Brick did a wonderful job putting myself and my peers at ease. I realized early on that he was eager to let the class know exactly what to expect. He is exceptionally organized and professional he gave detailed information on what we will cover during each weekend. His instruction was clear, concise, and easy to follow. He kept us hungry for more.
One thing I always need when I learn anything new is examples. Here Dr. Brick gave plenty. After observing many techniques, practiced in class, my confidence grew and I felt safe to explore what I had learnt. I found some areas of the course a little difficult to fathom. However at these times Dr. Brick would go out of his way to give examples and demonstrations to help comprehend any given topic, including video footage of leading authorities in the field of hypnotherapy. He always had time to discuss points in more detail yet still made sure everything on the agenda was covered. His guidance was pleasing to follow + his sense of humor kept everyone smiling and alert. Dr. Brick made it clear at the beginning that if we had any questions, he encouraged us to contact him by phone or email, during the course and after we graduated. I have taken advantage of this generous offer and feel fortunate to have such a wonderful human resource a phone call away. Dr. Bricks assistant Mona was a constant support, always welcoming us with a smile and interest in our well being and offering her wisdom throughout the program. Everyone felt like we were one big family - all eager to help and support one another throughout the program.
Some points that I took from the program were, believe in your self, dont doubt yourself, know that you now have the ability to go out there and serve the public - to those who may have lost there way and you have been given this precious gift to steer them back on their path. After 10 months Its hard to appreciate how much knowledge I have absorbed. Ive noticed how much more aware I am, that my listening skills and memory retention have greatly improved. When you are fortunate enough to sit and listen to an inspirational, knowledgeable and supportive instructor then your chances of success are much higher. I am in the process of starting up a hypnotherapy business. I am full of confidence and I belief in my ability. On the day of graduation all the students were given a binder with detailed information for starting up your own business, with wonderful contact information and resources. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in hypnotherapy and wishing to start up their own practice as a clinical hypnotherapist. Furthermore anyone wanting to gain a greater understanding of human behavior would also benefit from taking the program.
